SABAL TOURNAMENT ON 10TH AND 11TH JULY AT ST. MARY'S SCHOOL, TUMKUR
There are three categories - PRIMARY SCHOOL [6TH & 7TH] - MIDDLE SCHOOL [8TH] - HIGH SCHOOL [9TH & 10TH]. Application forms with name of the students and standard duly certified by school managements MUST BE SUBMITTED on or before 9th July by 4pm. Late entries will be rejected outright.
The fixtures will be given on 10TH JULY AT 10AM. All other rules will be standard SUMPOORNA TOURNAMENT rules. Briefly these are:
1. TEAMS will comprise of FIVE PLAYERS. One substitute can be kept.
2. Two halves of 10 minutes each.
3. When a team has lead of 10 points - the match will be treated as over.
4. Rough play will not be permitted.
5. When a player makes THIRD FOUL - he will have to leave the court and the team
shall play with FOUR PLAYERS only.
Referees' decision will be binding on all. Any dissent would mean elimination of the team. AND THE TEAMS FROM THAT SCHOOL will not be permitted to participate in future tournaments as a disciplinary measure.
